Jassil Villanueva Quintana, the creator of this gem, was deeply inspired by the rich tradition of coffee culture in the Dominican Republic and sought to create a rum that embodies the precious “cafecito” moment. A beautiful amber rum with a red hue. Its aroma begins with exceptionally delicate rich aromas of caramel and freshly brewed coffee, perfectly balanced by layers of dark chocolate and sweet vanilla. The taste initially appears with a pleasant rush of spices – cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, which give the taste a refined complexity. Subtle hints of raisins follow, seamlessly blending into deep coffee nuances, enriching every sip of this complex flavor. The medium-long finish is smooth and leaves a lasting impression of balanced flavors with a subtle but persistent cloud of smoke that develops subtly.
