Followed first by Master Blender Owen Tulloch, then entrusted to Joy Spence — the first woman to hold this position at Appleton — The Source, 51 years old, embodies the continuity of Jamaican know-how. Presentation of this collector's item Made from a single American oak barrel filled in 1973, this single cask concentrated by aging in barrels of rare length reveals the most intimate expression of the distillery. A cuvée shaped over time, designed for lovers of exceptional spirits and authentic Jamaican rum . Carafe & Box The decanter is topped with a hand-shaped copper stopper , depicting the hummingbird, the symbol of Jamaica, and rests on a navy blue base. It is accompanied by a turquoise box decorated with a radial motif in straw marquetry, evoking freshly pressed sugar cane.
