Vino de naranja, or orange wine, is a specialty from Andalusia, Spain, which is made by macerating orange peel in white wine. And it is the orange wine from the Andalusian capital, Seville, that gave its name to the great limited edition of the Philippine rum Don Papa Sevillana Cask Finish. The legendary distillery from the Philippine island of Negros Occidental selected great rums aged from 4 to 12 years, which were matured in American bourbon barrels, and then left to age in barrels of the famous Oloroso sherry and vino de naranja. The result is an incredibly juicy delicacy with a truly unforgettable aroma. Citrus notes dominate the palate, which complement the velvety soft tones of salted caramel with a light woody base.
